The TPS brand and website were outdated and misaligned with the DMA’s identity ahead of an important ICO tender. The goal was to refresh the brand and digital experience to rebuild trust and modernise perception. With that in mind, I led the full redesign, refining the tone and typography, introducing a website chatbot, and implementing PR and compliance tracking systems. These efforts repositioned TPS as a credible and accessible service, supporting the renewal of the ICO contract.

Introduction

TPS had long been recognised by the public but had fallen behind in both design and digital functionality. Ahead of the ICO tender, I was tasked with transforming its visual identity, digital infrastructure and communications to align with DMA standards while preparing the service for the next phase of public engagement.

The Transformation

The process involved completely rebuilding the brand’s visual system, rethinking how TPS communicated with users, and coordinating with IT and compliance teams to modernise operations. This included new brand guidelines, a refined logo, and a full review of how each Preference Service site interacted within the wider ecosystem.
